After recently wrapping up her widely celebrated Eusexua tour, FKA twigs added two performances at the Reading & Leeds festival in the UK and the Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands.
To mark the occasions, twigs and her stylist, Billy Lobos, turned to Atelier RSRV for the fit. Together with the RSRV team, they created a deep merlot-hued, Road Warrior–inspired leather ensemble.
The exaggerated, raw-edged boot-cut pant and jacket combo incorporated armor pieces in the elbows, shoulders, and knees, salvaged from crashed MotoGP suits worn by Alpinestars’ professional athletes.
The one-of-one bespoke jacket played with asymmetry and cohesion, revealing a deliberate sliver of exposed midriff before extending into an offset, double-breasted wrap closure and moto-inspired stand collar.
The back of the jacket carried an embroidered Eusexua logo, just below the Alpinestars RSRV wordmark. The accompanying pants were adapted from the RSRV Neo Bat Leather Pant, their second-skin fit flaring at the calves to accommodate her chunky platform boots.
Collaborating with twigs and her team was another feather in RSRV’s helmet of inspiration. She embodies everything that what we’re about: blurring the lines between art, athleticism, style, and entertainment—and looking really good while doing it.
She’s collaborated with a roster of legendary designers and brands in the past to compliment her visual storytelling, and we’re glad to be part of that roster.
