The Tech-Air® 3 V2 Canvas System is a fully autonomous airbag protection system designed for versatile motorcycle riding. This advanced system operates independently without external motorcycle connections, featuring AI-powered crash detection with 6 integrated sensors that deploy the airbag in milliseconds upon detecting impact scenarios. The system reduces up to 95% of impact energy across the full chest and back areas, providing Level 2 certified protection under EN1624-4:2013 standards. Constructed from stretch nylon canvas with waterproof ECU, the system functions reliably in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C. The versatile design allows wearing over or under compatible motorcycle jackets, while the packable construction enables easy storage when not in use. Key features include 40-hour battery life with 4-hour charging, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity to the Tech-Air® App for monitoring and updates, LED status display with haptic alerts, and practical elements like sunglasses pocket, glove waist loop, and multiple zippered pockets. The system uses replaceable gas inflator cartridges serviceable by certified dealers and features machine-washable construction at 30°C with removable electronic components. CE certified to European Regulation (UE) 2016/425 Category II PPE, the Tech-Air® 3 V2 delivers professional-grade protection for touring, urban commuting, and recreational riding.

Due to regulations for transport of dangerous goods by air (IATA) and road (ADR), consumers are not permitted to ship Tech-Air® products themselves for return or servicing. In the event of a return or service request you must therefore deliver the goods in person to one of our Tech-Air® Hubs. Please ensure you first contact our Customer Care team to receive confirmation of the correct Hub and approval before visiting.
Currently the Tech-Air® Hubs are only available in Italy, Germany and Netherlands but we are onboarding more centers across major European countries shortly.

Designed to ideally be worn over a motorcycle jacket or garment, but can be worn under a motorcycle jacket as well, providing effective and practical protection for V-Twin riders, touring riders, urban city commuters, and weekend warriors who want to ride protected.
PROTECTION
Alpinestars’ crash detection triggering algorithm has been developed and refined with millions of kilometers of riding data and tens of thousands of crashes, allowing the System to accurately assess when to deploy the airbag ahead of an impact or other dangerous situation like a lowside, or highside crash.
In the event the Tech-Air® 3 detects the start of a crash, the system will activate the protective airbag in milliseconds, providing upper body protection, and reducing up to 95% of the impact energy transferred to the rider anywhere the airbag protects, which includes the full chest and back.
LED Display
A discretely hidden but easily visible LED display on the front chest indicates the Airbag System’s operational status, and incorporates a haptic alert, which vibrates to confirm the System is armed, as well as alerts the rider when the battery is running low.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY
Bluetooth connectivity to a Tech-Air® App allows monitoring of both the System's operational status and battery status, and mapping your journey via MyRide.
