Het race-afgeleide GP Plus V4 sport Leren Jack is meer dan alleen een evolutie van de wereldberoemde V3, het is een complete revolutie. Met een herzien silhouet, verbeterde materiaalkeuze, een nieuwe gemoderniseerde look met verfijnde details en een lichter totaalgewicht, is de GP Plus V4 Jas de perfecte keuze. De drie belangrijkste verschillen die nieuw zijn voor de GP Plus V4 zijn het gebruik van A-CS™ Plus stretchmateriaal, GP-R Lite verlengde elleboogbescherming en een nieuw, gemoderniseerd grafisch ontwerp. A-CS™ Plus stretchmateriaal is Alpinestars composiet stretch, dat te vinden is in de grote zijpanelen van de jas. Een MotoGP afgeleide materiaaltechnologie, A-CS™ Plus stretch biedt verhoogde rek, hoge slijtvastheid, hogere scheurweerstand dan leer, plus een lager profiel en totaalgewicht – allemaal belangrijke kenmerken die motorrijders eisen als het gaat om verhoogd comfort en prestaties. How does the GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket fit, and which size should I choose?
The GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket uses a pre-curved, race-derived shape designed around the sport riding position. A-CS™ Plus side panels and tech stretch zones on the chest, shoulders, back of the neck and inner arms support freedom of movement.
The Black Black variant is offered in men’s sizes 48–64, in two-size increments. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the fit with your intended layers, keeping the shoulder and elbow armor correctly positioned. If using Tech-Air®, follow the selected system’s fitting instructions.
What CE rating and armor does the GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket have?
The GP Plus V4 is CE-certified Category II to EN 17092-3:2020, Class AA. This is the jacket’s garment protection classification, separate from the impact protectors’ CE levels.
It includes Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder armor and extended GP-R Lite elbow armor, both certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1. DFS Dynamic Friction Shield external shoulder sliders complete the shoulder protection package.
Which Tech-Air® airbag systems are compatible with the GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket?
The GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and listed as compatible with the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma System, Tech-Air® 5 System and Tech-Air® 3 V2 System. Tech-Air® Ready indicates compatibility, not that an airbag system is included.
Follow the selected system’s compatibility, sizing and deployment-clearance instructions when choosing your jacket size and checking the fit.
Does the GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket have ventilation and a removable thermal liner?
The GP Plus V4 has long, direct-opening vents on the abdomen for airflow and a detachable 80 g thermal vest for additional warmth. The thermal layer is a vest rather than a full-sleeve liner.
Remove the vest and use the vents for warmer riding conditions, or refit the vest when temperatures fall. The A-CS™ Plus stretch side panels also provide breathability.
What is the GP Plus V4 Leather Jacket made from, and how do its stretch panels work?
The GP Plus V4 combines race bovine and regular bovine leather with A-CS™ Plus composite stretch side panels. It is not an all-leather construction: additional tech stretch material is used on the chest, shoulders, back of the neck and inner arms.
The A-CS™ Plus panels provide flexibility, abrasion and tear resistance, and breathability with a lower weight and profile than leather accordion paneling. These stretch zones support movement in the sport riding position.
